So I had a laptop stolen and I'm just getting things up and running on my new Windows 8 laptop. The VB6 IDE installed but the install hung at the end - like it always does for Windows 8. I did a quick reboot and the IDE comes up just fine.
Problem is when I downloaded SP6 and tried to install it, the SP refuses to install. It says I must first install VB6. Grrr. I'm thinking because the VB6 install didn't complete fully the SP6 thinks there's no VB to update.
Any suggestions on getting SP6 to run?
