Enabling and Disabling the Max Button on a form?

Hi there I am working on a math prog and would like to give the user the option to max the form. However many users will be using the small netbooks that have smaller resolutions and will not need to maximize and would like to disable the max button using form1.maxbutton.enabled = false, but when I do I get an error saying "invalid qualifier". Would anyone know what that means?
