I wonder if anybody could help with a little program that i am trying to do
i have a list of 34 international Football (soccer) teams and i want to randomly pick them to go in to groups a bit like the world cup qualifying rounds, i have them listed in ranking.
What i want is a little program that will pick each team from each pot and place them in groups (1 to 8), a bit like this
Group A,B,C,D,F,H
team from pot 1
team from pot 2
team from pot 3
team from pot 4
Group E,G
team from pot 1
team from pot 2
team from pot 3
team from pot 4
team from pot 5
As you can see it will end up with eight groups 6 with four teams and two with 5 teams
Can anybody help me with this
