I have a custom form with no borders and a gradient background and a rich textbox. I have used code to make the rich text box transparent. So only the text in it willbe shown. But when the form is resized or when you write text in the rich text box, it kind of appears-disappears very quickly, as well as other elements such as the black picturebox in the image below.. I don't know if you get it. Like a lag.
If I set form's autoredraw to true, it removes the lag. But also removes the gradient background. But if I set the autoredraw=false then there will be both gradient and lag.
How can I solve this? I really want a good performance of my app.
