Need some help writing a script. Or maybe a lot of help.

Hi, guys. I need to create (or maybe something like this already exists) a simple script that would eliminate redundancies in a text.

Here's the idea:

There is a manuscript-length text file containing an essay or novel. The text has some redundancies. Here's an example: "The coordinator noticed a whole slew of red flags and reached for the phone. The visitor noticed an odd-looking object on the desk and moved closer." The word "noticed" is repeated twice in two adjacent sentences. The second sentence needs to be changed to something like, "An odd-looking object on the desk drew the visitor's attention."

What the script needs to do is identify all such redundancies (all nouns, verbs, and adjectives that occur more than once within, say, four sentences) and display them, or write them to a text file.

It would take me about three or four minutes to write a mainframe program for this task. With VB, I'm totally lost, and wouldn't know where to begin.

Some help, please?
