Question about mail merge with VB6

Hi everyone,

I have to modify an existing VB6 app to print data on business card labels (the ones with 8 cards per sheet). I have looked up code examples for this but I'm not sure how to start. Do I need a template file? I want to print fields I select on the business card but I also need some other text on the card also. Can I do this? When i say other text I mean something like "Name:" and then after it have the actual name from the database.
